This week on The Record Review I take a look at the latest release from Dum Dum Girls, Too True. It’s a real departure from their previous two albums, as Dee Dee channels the best of 1980s lo-fi into a stylish LP.
Heavily influenced by the Manchester sound, mispronouncing French poets’ names (or maybe just making me mispronounce them…), and inspiring a collaboration with Bret Easton Ellis, it’s pretty awesome. Check out my review for the full story:
